Patricia Jensen

Patricia Ann Jensen, age 60, of St. James died on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at her home in rural St. James. Funeral services will be 10:30am, Saturday, January 12, 2013, at LaSalle Lutheran Church in LaSalle. Burial will be at the LaSalle Lutheran Cemetery in LaSalle. Visitation will be at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James on Friday from 4pm to 8pm and at the church one hour before services at the church. Patricia Jensen was born in 1952 to Jay and Doris Johnson. She died peacefully in her home on January 6, 2013 with her family and friends by her side. Pat was born in St. James at the Nuns Hospital on October 3, 1952. She met John when she was fifteen and married him in 1969 and they said it wouldn't last! They were married on Sept. 27, 1969, at LaSalle Lutheran Church. Pat was blessed with her DeAnna in 1970 when John was in Viet Nam. Her brothers Larry and his wife Rosie took good care of her until John came home. DeAnna was 4 months old when she met her dad. Pat was so proud to show her true love his child for the first time. Pat loved her husband and child with all the love she had. In 1974 the little family opened their heart for their little Shawna. DeAnna thought Shawna was her baby, Pat and DeAnna had more then one discussion about that. There was so much love in her little family. Pat had a lovely and full life. Pat loved all her dogs. The last four, buddy, Fred,Baby and Cisco made her laugh. They kissed her and snuggled with her through all of it. They were truly Man's (Women's) Best Friend. Pat is survived by her husband John Jensen. Married for 43 years. Her daughters DeAnna (Daniel) Shaikoski from Fairmont, Shawna (Troy) Heavirland of St. Cloud, Pat's grandchildren, Justin Shaikoski (in the Air Force) in New Mexico and his friend Sara, Emilee Shaikoski and her friend Andy of Fairmont, T.J. (Troy) and Elizabeth Heavirland of St. Cloud, brother Dale (B.J.) Johnson of St. James, sister-in-law Rosie Johnson of St. James, half brother Mark (Kathy) Johnson, half sister Marsha Johnson. She is preceded in death by her mom, dad, brother Larry who was her rock most of her life also her in-laws Jens and Edna who showed her how to love with all her heart.
