Otto Sellner

There will be a CA/KC rosary at 4pm and a parish prayer service at 7pm, both Friday at the funeral home. Otto Anthony Sellner was born on May 10, 1921 in Albin Township, MN, the son of Otto Theresa (Bruckbauer) Sellner. He grew up and attended country school in Albin Township. Otto lived his entire life on the family farm working as a dairy farmer. He married Dolores Rewitzer on February 14, 1953 in Gaylord, MN. Otto was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where he served on the Parish Council and sang in the choir and a member of the Knights of Columbus and Catholic Aid. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and involved in soil conservation. Otto enjoyed dairy farming, playing cards, old time music, outdoors and especially being with family. He is survived by his wife, Dolores of Sleepy Eye, children, Diane (Dennis) Krzmarzick, Mike (Judy) Sellner all of Sleepy Eye, Renee (Bill) Petersen of New Ulm, Brian Sellner of Sleepy Eye, Brenda (Glenn) Anderson of Redwood Falls, 14 grandchildren, Sonni Mikail Sellner, Jeremy, Stephanie Jenna Krzmarzick, Matt, Kyle, Rebecca Kelsey Sellner, Chandra (Randy) Baker, Andrea, Erik, Joseph Sara Petersen, sisters, Clarie (Wallace) Mecklenburg of New Ulm, Mary Eichberger of Sleepy Eye, Esther (Evan) Vasey of Sebeka, Cecilia (Tom) Schwarz of New Ulm, Theresa Reiniger of Sleepy Eye, Veronica (Francis) Dauer of New Ulm, Bernadette Fischer of Springfield, brother-in-law, John P. Schmidt of Willmar sister-in-law, Leona Sellner of Sleepy Eye. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant grandson, Nicholas Sellner, brothers, Walter Norbert Sellner, sister, Rose Schmidt, brothers-in-law, Lenard Fischer, Frank Eichberger, John Reiniger, twin brothers sister, Loretta Sellner in infancy.
