Otto George Kremmin, Jr. age 91, of Mountain Lake, Minnesota died on November 6, 2020, at Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington, Minnesota. Private family services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church-Mountain Lake. A public Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The clergy will be Rev. Rick Bremseth. Interment will be at the Mountain Lake City Cemetery in Mountain Lake, Minnesota with military honors by the Mountain Lake American Legion Post 389. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Mtn. Lake, Minnesota. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Otto George Kremmin, Jr. was born on September 5, 1929 in Bingham Lake, MN to Otto Kremmin, Sr. and Minnie (Gerdes) Kremmin. He attended country school in Bingham Lake and graduated from Mountain Lake High School in 1947. On May 21, 1952 Otto was united in marriage to Dorothy Jass at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Lake. Otto was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Immediately after their marriage, Otto left for Kentucky for the US Army. After basic training he was stationed in Germany. After his service to his country, Otto returned home and lived on several farms around the Mountain Lake and Bingham Lake area. Otto is survived by 6 sons, Jim (Deb) Kremmin, Ron Kremmin, Tom (Char) Kremmin, Randy (LuAnn) Kremmin, Doug (Kim) Kremmin, Jason (Heather) Kremmin; daughter-in-law, Amy Kremmin; one sister, Mariah Fredin; 20 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Dean; grandson, Zachary Dean Kremmin.
