Norman Dale Krebs, son of Paul and Emily (James) Krebs was born on June 2, 1923 in Brookville Township, Redwood County, MN. He was baptized at Christ the Lutheran Church in Cobden on July 15, 1923 and confirmed June 13, 1937 in Cobden. Norman attended school in Cobden and Sleepy Eye Public High School graduating May 28, 1942. He served in the Army from February of 1946 until March of 1947 during WWII. Norman married Arlene Voge on June 10, 1947 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Springfield. Norman and Arlene lived, farmed milked cows and raised their family on the family farm in Brookville Township, Redwood County. They were honored as 2002 Century Farm in Redwood County. Norm farmed until he moved to the Sleepy Eye Care Center on April 27, 2018. He did a lot of custom work, baling and filling silos and enjoyed listening and dancing to old time music, eating candy especially anything chocolate. He is survived by his daughters, Darliss (Mike) Rathman of Gibbon, Janice (Dennis) Schueler of Sleepy Eye, Mavis (Doug) Hinderman of Sleepy Eye, sons, Kurt and Lyle Krebs, both of Sleepy Eye, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his parents, wife, Arlene in 2018, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Elmer (Edna) Kettner, Alvin (Tina) Voge, Alfred (Betty Jean) Voge, Chuck (Margie) Schwartz, Mary Lou Schubbe, step-half brother, Gerald Kettner and many uncles and aunts.
