Norman "Norm" Lee Dick age 73, of Madelia, MN, died on January 2, 2024, at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in Saint James, MN.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church-Madelia, on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior.

The clergy will be Rev. Kelly Heide. Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Madelia.

Norman Dick was born April 11, 1950, to Ervin Dick and Janet (Lyons) Coners at the Mountain Lake Hospital. He spent most of his youth in Comfrey where he attended school until the 10th grade and was later confirmed into the Lutheran faith. He worked construction most of his life and resided in Mountain Lake until eventually moving to Madelia in 2006, where he resided until entering Pleasant View Good Samaritan Society in St. James in August 2022. Norm enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, riding his bicycle, fishing, hunting, attending baseball games, and woodworking. Norm was known for his kindness to everyone, young and old. He was always up to something and always had a story to share.

Norm is survived by his brother, Chuck (Brenda) Coners of Comfrey, MN; sister, Amy (Cory) Coners-Thomas of Madelia, MN; along with his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Aric) Bowen of Glenwood, MN, Emily (Andrew Windschitl) Coners of Mt. Lake, MN, Scott (Jessie Reel) Coners of Springfield, MN, Cody and Tyler Coners of Madelia, MN, Josh Coners of Rochester, MN; sister-in-law, Pam Coners, of Alexandria, MN; 6 great-nephews and 3 great nieces. Norm is preceded in death by his father, Ervin Dick; mother, Janet Coners; step-father, Claus Coners, Jr.; sister, Sharon Spalding; brothers, Carl Coners, Douglas Coners, and his beloved pet dog, Toby.
