Norma A. Wall

Norma Ann Wall went to be with her Heavenly Father and Savior on February 5, 2016. She was born to Henry and Helen (Loewens) Ysker on April 3, 1926 in Mt. Lake Minnesota. She received her education at District 12 , Mt. Lake Township country school and graduated from Mt. Lake Public High School in 1944. After graduation she worked at the Bethel Hospital as a nurses aide, which she thoroughly enjoyed. While growing up she was her dad's right hand man, always working side by side. Many time she mentioned looking forward to being reunited with him in glory. On April 30, 1947 she was united in marriage to Arthur E Wall, in Mt. Lake. After their marriage they farmed southeast of Mt. Lake, where they raised 5 children. In 1992 Art and Norma moved to town and retired from farming in 1999. Her family was her life. She was a wonderful cook and housekeeper. She spent many hours babysitting her grandchildren. She was a one of a kind wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sorely missed. She was a member of the Community Bible Church and was very active singing in a ladies trio and church choir. She also was a Sunday School teacher for many years to high school students. She had a special place in her heart for the youth. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Arthur E. Wall of Mt. Lake, children Byron (Terri) Wall, Curtis (Debra) Wall, Dean (Sherry) Wall of Mt. Lake, daughter-in-law Rosy Wall, Woodbury, MN, son-in-law Steven (Carrie) Earll of Colorado Springs, CO, in-laws, Elmer (Winafred) Wall of Goshen, IN, 12 grandchildren and spouses, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 3 sisters, Alvin, Evelyn, Irene and Helen, daughter Rachel Earll and son Charles Wall.
