Memorial may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in lieu of flowers. Norma M. Siegmann, age 88, of Sleepy Eye, died on Friday, July 24, 2009, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN. Norma Rositzke was born April 7, 1921 at Springfield to parents John and Elizabeth (Polzin) Rositzke. Norma grew up in Springfield area where she attended school. On March 27, 1941 she was united in marriage to Clarence Siegmann in Springfield. The couple made their home in California for a short time before Clarence was drafted during WWII. Norma moved back to Springfield while Clarence served in the military. The couple farmed NE of Sandborn for 27 years before retiring to Springfield and later Sleepy Eye. Norma was active in ladies aid at church, enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, baking and traveling to visit family. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters Evelyn Stern and Mildred Timm. Norma is survived by her three sons Clarence Siegmann of Sleepy Eye, Gene (Pattie) Siegmann of North Port, FL, Garlin (Mary) Siegmann of Albuquerque, MN, brother Donald Rositzke of Milwaukee, WI, 4 grandchildren Joseph, Brian, Keith, Christine, 3 great-grandchildren Jennifer, Billy, Skyler, and a great-great-grandchild Jaylynn.
