Norma Richardson

Norma Richardson age 92, of Mountain Lake, died on October 27, 2017, at Good Samaritan-The Village. Norma was born on March 2, 1925 the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Eitzen) Esau. She attended and graduated from Mountain Lake Public High School. On March 25, 1948 she married Eugene Richardson and together they lived in St. James. She was a housewife and worked at Epp's Department Store until her retirement. After Eugene's death in 1973, she moved to Mountain Lake. She enjoyed playing card games and Scrabble as well as volunteering with Care and Share and serving coffee at the nursing home. Norma had one of the best green thumbs when it came to flowers. She was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church. Norma is survived by her son, Mark (Mary) Richardson, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and sister, Elizabeth Loewen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, daughter, Kathleen (Richardson) Brown and brother, Arlowe Esau.
