There will be a prayer service at the funeral home at 7pm on Friday. A luncheon will be held at the Orchid Inn in Sleepy Eye, no outside food donations will be accepted. Nick was born on April 23, 1919 in Brown County, MN to Frank Angela (Breigenzer) Hauser. On May 6, 1941 he was united in marriage to Rosile Braun in Sleepy Eye. Following marriage they farmed in Stark Township. He was a member of St. Anne Church in White Bear Lake MN. He enjoyed going to Canada fishing, having his friends and family come out to his farm and organizing the deer hunting party, playing cards, watching his wild turkeys and looking to pull a good joke on someone. Survivors include children, Gerald (Barbara) Hauser, Delrose (Melvin) Stadick, Kenny (Peggy) Hauser, all of New Ulm, son-in-law, Nick Walter, Jr. of Clements, 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, brother, Cornelius (Kathy) Hauser, sisters, Rita Augustin and Gertrude Marti, brother-in-law, Harold Braulick, sister-in-law, Irene Hauser, as well as many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Rosile, daughters, Joan Walter and Marlene Hauser, brothers, Leonard and Sylvester and sisters, Veronica Hoffman and Mary Catherine.
