Nancy Marion Steinhaus

Nancy Marion Steinhaus, age 80, of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, died at Divine Providence Community Home on January 13, 2026.

Nancy was born on February 18, 1945, in Redwood Falls, MN. She grew up and later graduated in Fairfax, MN. Later she lived in Roseville, MN where she held positions in banking and later retail at J.C. Penney's.

Five years ago, she moved to Sleepy Eye where her cousin, Lisa, helped her navigate medical appointments and daily needs. During this time, she spent holidays and family hog roasts with her aunt and uncle's children and extended family. She enjoyed visiting, snacking, and playing games. Nancy spent the last year and a half at Divine Providence Community Home where she received spiritual and loving care from her staff. At this time, we found out she was a social butterfly and enjoyed visiting, chapel, doing daily exercises and activities. While at Divine Providence, she also met and treasured some close friends. She enjoyed an early birthday party with her Sleepy Eye cousins. A few days later her Savior took her home to heaven.

Nancy leaves behind several cherished cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar and Ruby (Guerard) Steinhaus and brother, Curtis Steinhaus.

A private burial will be held this spring.

Memorials may be gifted to Divine Providence Community Home in Sleepy Eye in Nancy's memory.
