Nadine Sellner

Nadine L. Sellner was born on April 3, 1932 on the family farm in Albin Township, MN the daughter of Florian and Mary (Wurtzberger) Hoffman. She attended country school District #33 and St. Mary's Catholic School. Nadine married Lawrence Sellner on June 6, 1961 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. They farmed southwest of Leavenworth and she enjoyed helping on the farm. She also worked at Del Monte. She enjoyed many crafts, including sewing, crocheting and painting ceramics. Nadine inherited her green thumb and love of flower gardening from her mother. She enjoyed listening and dancing to polka music, spending time with family and friends and spent many years working side by side with her husband on the family dairy farm. Nadine Sellner, age 82, died Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Countryside. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence of Leavenworth, daughter, Connie Schroepfer of New Ulm, one granddaughter, Megan and sisters, Lucille Schultz and Elaine Hoffman, both of New Ulm. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Albert Hoffman, a brother in infancy, a sister-in-law, and 4 brothers-in-law.
