Miriam Gustafson

Miriam Gustafson died peacefully on October 4, 2013 in St. James, MN at Pleasantview, Good Samaritan Society. She fought many years battling Alzheimer's and Lewy Bodies Disease. Born May 17, 1934 St. Paul, MN to Dr. Joel and Ruth Peterson. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Orville and baby brother Peterson. Survived by her husband of 55 years; Rev. Roy Gustafson, four daughters; Cindy Torkelson (Paul) of St. James, MN, Cheryl Trayford (Marvin) of Roeland Park, KS, Marcia Magnuson (Mike) of Hutchinson, MN, Mary Gustafson of Los Angeles, CA, brother Fred (Janet) Peterson of Normal, Ill, grandchildren, Renee, Annika, Britta, Jon and Tim and numerous nephew, nieces and cousins. Funeral Service will be celebrating her life at 11:00 A.M. Saturday Oct.12, 2013 at Beaver Lake Lutheran Church, 2280 Stillwater Ave.E. Maplewood, MN. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cemetery 22250 St. Anthony Blvd. NE Minneapolis, MN.
