Minnie B. Klinker was born on May 3, 1910 in Trosky, MN the daughter of Hans Emma (Arp) Klinker. She grew up and attended school in Ivanhoe and Verdi, MN. After her schooling she moved with her family to Sleepy Eye. Minnie married Bernard A. Ben Riebel on October 8, 1932 in Sleepy Eye. The couple made their home in Prairieville Township. Ben preceded Minnie in death in 1991 and then she moved to Country Side Apartments in Sleepy Eye in 1992. Minnie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, theChristian Mothers and the Prairieville Homemakers Club. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, doing needlepoint and word find puzzles. She especially enjoyed visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Minnie B. Riebel, 96, of Sleepy Eye, MN died on Monday, September 18, 2006 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato, MN Survivors include her sons, Gerald Riebel, Vernard wife Myrt Riebel and Kenneth Riebel, all of Sleepy Eye, 9 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 16 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren and 3 step great great grandchildren, brother, Fred wife Margaret Klinker of Silver Bay and sister-in-law, Carolyn Klinker of Silver Bay. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ben, infant son Richard in 1941 and 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
