Mildred Lorraine Beck

Mildred Beckpassed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Society in St. James. Mildred Lorraine Quick was born September 26, 1926 in St. James. MN, the daughter of William and Freida (Froehling) Quick. She was baptized and confirmed in St Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church. She graduated from St. James High School in 1944. After graduation she worked as a secretary. On March 12, 1949 Mildred was united in marriage to Norman Beck. Mildred was active in St. Paul's Ladies Aid and her Extension club. She enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting and quilting. Mildred is survived by her daughers Cindy (Brooklyn Park), and Peggy (Eden Prairie), son Paul (Sheila) in Wauwatosa, WI., grandchildren Ian and Lauren, and her sister-in-law Ladonna Quick (St. James.) She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her brothers: Warren, Howard, and Roger.
