Michael William Crouch, age 80, of Sleepy Eye, MN, died on April 23, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus in Rochester, MN.
Michael was born on November 30, 1945, in Saint Paul, MN, Michael grew up in Sleepy Eye, where he formed deep roots and lasting friendships. He later moved to the Twin Cities, where he raised two wonderful boys.
Michael was a true beacon of hope and strength, a valued member of Alcoholics Anonymous who dedicated his life to leading others towards sobriety. His compassion and commitment to helping those in need touched countless lives as he guided them toward a brighter future.
An adventurous spirit at heart, Michael found great joy in exploring the open road on his motorcycle, taking in the beauty of the country and creating unforgettable memories along the way.
Michael is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeanette Crouch; daughter, Lisa (Joel); sons, Scott (Tammy) and Jason (Amy) Crouch; grandchildren, Lydia (Logan), Ryan (Rachel), Courtney (Jason), Margaret (David), Blair and Robert; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Gunnar, Shayla, Sadie, Edith, Amelia, Eleanor, Ivadel; sister, Yvonne (Paul); nieces, Christine, Cindy; nephews, Quint, Chad, and sisters-in-law, Lauraine and June. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Charles; brothers-in-law, Kenny, Stan, James, Phil, and parents-in-law, Edgar and Alice.
We invite everyone who knew and loved Michael to gather for a Celebration of Life at Sportsman's Park in Sleepy Eye on May 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. A time of memory sharing and music will take place at 3:00 PM.
Let's come together to share stories, laughter, and reminisce about the impact Michael had on our lives. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. Online Condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your local AA Chapter for coffee, donuts or cookies at an upcoming meeting.
