Medard J. Haala, age 74 of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, died on August 22, 2026. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – North Entrance in Sleepy Eye. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. The clergy will be Fr. Samuel Perez. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.
