Mavis Pfarr

Mavis Dawn Pfarr was born on January 17, 1941, the daughter of Edward and Margaret (Kerns) Richmond in LaCrosse, WI. On July 24th, 1971, Mavis was united in marriage to Willard Bill Pfarr at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton. She worked at Valley View Manor in Lamberton for 24 years. She was a member of the Lamberton American Legion Auxiliary and Our Savior's Lutheran. Mavis enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing bingo with her friends. Her best day would be spent with her sisters. They would go shopping at Goodwill, come home to rearrange furniture, and end the evening with a wild game of May-I. Mavis died Saturday, July 19, 2014, at her home in rural Lamberton, MN, at the age of 73. She is survived by her husband Willard Bill Pfarr; children - Paulette (Kenneth) Koch of Walnut Grove, MN, Jeffrey Erickson of Faribault, MN, Brian (Kelly) Pfarr of Lamberton, MN, Michael (Jen) Siemer of Morgan, MN; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; siblings - Bess Gile, Rosella Henderson, Lolietta (Glenn) Holland, Jean (Walter) Henderson, Richard Richmond, Bonnie Decker, Larry (Cheryl) Richmond, Rhonda (Lyle) Bloom, Nancy Smith, Corinne (Thomas) Sullivan, Thomas (Diane) Richmond, Carlin Richmond, and Carnel Papenfuss; sister-in-law June Schrupp; numerous nieces and nephews.
