Marylouise Patricia Forsythe

Marylouise Patricia (Sharratt) Forsythe was born November 4, 1929 in Russell, MN to Arnold and Anna (Van Breason) Sharratt. She attended Tyler Minnesota High School and graduated in 1947. She met and later married Robert Forsythe in Rock Rapids, IA on March 14, 1947, and four children were born to them. They lived in Tyler for 10 years and then moved to Madelia in 1957. As a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, she was active in the Circle, WELC, The Doll Project and Quilting. She was a volunteer to call Bingo at Luther Memorial Home for many years. Marylouise enjoyed many hobbies including, crocheting, watching TV, quilting, playing cards and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins. Her passion was sewing and making potholders. Marylouise Patricia Forsythe age 88, of Madelia, Minnesota died on June 18, 2018, at the Madelia Community Hospital. Marylouise is survived by her children, Gary (Val) Forsythe of Albert Lea, MN, James (Wanda) Forsythe of Port St. Lucie, FL, Nancy (Gary) Blickem of Madelia and Susan (Alan) Nundahl of Murfressboro, TN; 8 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Forsythe in 2002; sisters, Darlene Pochardt, Shirley Kells; brothers, Merlyn and Lyle Sharratt; step-grandchildren, Kevin and Kenneth Blickem.
