Mary Thuer

Mary was born in Springfield, MN on September 6, 1916 to John and Anna Thuer. After graduating from Springfield High School, Mary worked as a secretary for the Forster Furniture Company. From 1941-1944 she served in the Signal Corp in Washington DC and Philadelphia. Mary moved to St. Paul in 1945 and took a job as a medical secretary for Wilder Charities and later was the parish secretary for Holy Spirit Church in St. Paul, MN. Her retirement years were spent in New Ulm, MN. Mary Catherine Thuer died on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Divine Providence Community Home in Sleepy Eye, MN. Mary is survived by four nieces, two nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sister-in-laws.
