Mary Meyer

Mary Nadine Meyer, 68, of Saint James, died May 27, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at the First Presbyterian Church in Saint James with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James. Online Condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.

Mary was born on November 21, 1957, to Darrell and Barbara (Field) Rose in Flint, Michigan. She attended and graduated from Carman High School in Flint. On July 5, 1980, she married Steve Meyer. Together they raised four sons.

Mary and Steve settled in Saint James. She worked in retail and as a paraprofessional at the school. She also spent many years as an EMT for the Saint James Ambulance Service. She loved music and singing, especially at the First Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed helping with many church activities. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her special friend, Darlene Goossen.

Mary is survived by her husband, Steve; sons, Justin (Tiffany) Meyer, Keith (Kyndra) Meyer, Lance Meyer, and Mitchell (Lila) Meyer; grandchildren, Lincoln, Emily, Kaytlyn, Holden, Landon, Jaxon, Bryson, Thomas, Dulanie, and one on the way; sister, Darlene Clark; and brother, Arnie (Carolyn) Rose.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Bishop; brother, Eddie Rose; brothers-in-law, Tom Clark and Larry Bishop; niece, Meredith; and nephew, Andy.
