Mary Eichberger was born March 28, 1923 in Albin Township, Brown County to Otto Theresa (Bruckbauer) Sellner. She attended St. Mary's School and worked for families. Mary Sellner and Frank Eichberger were united in marriage on November 8, 1947 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Mary was a farm wife for 30 years and a life long member of St. Mary's Church. In retirement, she enjoyed gardening, art and painting and tended family, neighbors and friends. She is survived by her children- Mary Jean (David) Janni of New Ulm, Steven Eichberger of Springfield, Monica (Walter) Duran of Sutherlin, OR, Pete (Jean) Eichberger of Sleepy Eye, JoAnn (Glen) Osmonson of Sleepy Eye, Paul (Elena) Eichberger of Mankato; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther Vasey of Wadena, Cecilia (Tom) Schwarz of New Ulm, Theresa Reiniger of Sleepy Eye, Bernadette Fischer of Springfield, Veronica (Francis) Dauer of New Ulm; sisters-in-law, Leona Sellner, Delores Sellner, both of Sleepy Eye, Mary Zembal of Aberdeen, WA, Marie Eichberger of Corpus Christi, TX and brother-in-law, Wallace Mecklenburg of New Ulm. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank in 2004, son, John in 1979, sisters, Rose (John) Schmidt, Clara Mecklenburg, brothers, Walter (Matilda) Sellner, Norbert and Otto Sellner, brothers-in-law, John Reiniger, Leonard Fischer, Evan Vasey and twin brothers and sister in infancy. The family would prefer memorials be made to St. Mary's School, NEw Ulm Hospice or the donors choice in lieu of flowers.
