Mary Ann Doyle, 93, of Sleepy Eye, died December 10, 2025, at the Divine Providence Community Home in Sleepy Eye with family at her side.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Mary was born on June 28, 1932, accompanied by her twin sister Margaret, born on the family farm south of Sleepy Eye to Lawrence and Ann (Saffert) Weiss. She attended country school for six years and then Saint Mary's School. She married Jim Doyle on July 18, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They lived in Milwaukee until 1956 and returned to Sleepy Eye where they raised 3 sons and ran The Albin Store 9 miles south of Sleepy Eye.
In 1986, Mary and Jim moved to Montrose, Colorado. Jim died in 1987. She married Stan Kyrpzak on July 4, 1992, in Montrose. In April of 2008, she moved back to Sleepy Eye. While living in Sleepy Eye she worked at the Sleepy Eye Hospital and in Montrose, she worked for Volunteers of America.
Mary was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church and the VFW. She enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, music, crocheting, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family. Mary will be remembered for her humor and contagious laugh.
Mary is survived by her sons, Patrick (Barbara) Doyle of Sleepy Eye, Tom (Judy) Doyle of Rushford, Minnesota, and Mark (Denise) Doyle of Park Rapids, Minnesota; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Karen Weiss.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Jim Doyle and Stan Kyrpzak; brothers, Sylvester, Linus, and Victor; sisters Viola, Lillian, Margaret, and Florence; and other family members.
