Marlin John Mathiowetz

Marlin "Marley" J. Mathiowetz, age 63, passed away peacefully March 10, 2016. Marley was born June 4, 1952, in Sleepy Eye the son of Aloysius and Leona (Schweiss) Mathiowetz. He graduated from St. Mary's High School and lived on the family farm his entire life. After retiring three years ago, he enjoyed completing many projects on the homestead. Marley was interested in electricity, welding, carpentry, solar energy conservation and reading. He had a great love for all animals but he was especially close to his beloved kitty, "Little Girl." Marley was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by brothers, Cletus (Donna) Mathiowetz of Prior Lake, MN and Gene (Laura) Mathiowetz of Huntington Beach, CA and a niece Colleen (Jason) McDonald of Shakopee, MN. The family wishes to thank the staff at Seasons Hospice, Redwood Falls for their care and compassion and to the relatives, neighbors and friends who were always there for Marley.
