Marlene A. Torssell

Marlene Torssell, originally from Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, passed away on November 27, 2025, at Home for Creative Living in Windom, Minnesota. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.

Marlene's sparkling blue eyes and vivacious personality, full of spunk and mischief, brought joy to all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the community she cherished.

For the past 38 years, Marlene made her home at the Home for Creative Living, where she built lasting bonds and shared countless memories with her adopted family and caregivers. Her warmth and enduring spirit leave a void that will be felt by all who loved her.

Marlene is survived by her sisters, Carol Torssell of Queen Creek, AZ and Teresa Torssell of Attleboro, MA; her brother and his wife, Steven (Carol Ann) Torssell of Ann Arbor, MI; and niece and nephew, Katie and Michael Torssell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Elfreida Torssell.
