She was employed by Natrona County School District, Casper, WY between the years of 1985-2009 as a school bus driver. While living in Midwest, Wyoming she was involved in several charitable events in the community. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always placing her family's needs above her own. She loved attending school functions for the children and seeing her grandchildren graduate from high school. She was proud of all of them. Some of her favorite pass times consisted of playing games with her family, especially rummy (with no three of a kind), watching the Game show network to keep her mind sharp and watching the Cowboy Channel. She loved going for drives to enjoy nature and all the beautiful flowers, but Christmas was her favorite. Above all that, what was most dear to Marlene's heart, was the love of her family and spending time with friends. Marlene is survived by three daughters: Annette (Bret) Braaten of Butterfield, MN, Pamela Barnhill of Casper, WY, and Teri (Paul) Garnhart of Kaycee, WY. Her grandchildren are; Blane and Connie (Sandmeyer) Braaten and family of Butterfield, MN, Michael and Paula (Klenke) Braaten and family, Butterfield, MN, Kody and Darlene (Hohn) Garnhart and family of Fort Polk, LA, Samantha (Schultz) and Jesse Bishop and family, Glenrock, WY, Tyler Guthrie of Fort Drum, NY, and Ethan Garnhart of Laramie, WY. She is proceeded in death by her father Floyd Anderson, mother and step-father Pearl and Heinrich Stumpf, son Bradley, and daughters Marsha and Kathy, and her special friend Thomas Cassidy. Blessed be her name! Service Information 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 29, 2020 Community Bible Church-Butterfield 100 Chapman St. Butterfield, Minnesota, United States 56120
