Marjorie Caudill

Marjorie Caudill, age 83, of St. James, died on Sunday, December 13, 2009, at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James. Marjorie Adeline Iverson was born October 26, 1926 at Grand Meadow, MN, the daughter of Ingvald and Clara (McDowell) Iverson. Marjorie grew up in the Spring Valley area where she attended country school. She was the only student in her grade level. On July 4, 1945 she was united in marriage to Arthur Caudill they couple made their home in Spring Valley and other Southern Minnesota communities. In 1968 she moved to Litchfield and to Seattle, Washinton in 1979. She returned to Minnesota in 1988 and made her home in St. James. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, son Bobby, parents, brothers Marvin and Ike. She is survived by her children Becky Brad Stauffer of St. James, Mary Solmes of Shakopee, Nancy Janssen Hawk of Shakopee, Mike Julie Rathbun of Darwin, sister Edna Schmiedelburg of San Rafel, CA, brothers Eddie Iverson of Sparks, NV, Reuben Iverson of Collins, MO, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Marjorie was an avid Twins and Vikings fan she also looked forward to family trips to the casions. She enjoyed her grandson's wrestling matches. She also loved to bake, play bingo and attend family gatherings. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, son Bobby, parents, brothers Marvin and Ike.
