Marion Elizabeth Roberts

Marion Elizabeth (Faulkner) Roberts was born in Judson Township, MN to Frank and Emmeline Faulkner on August 11, 1929. Marion was a graduate from Madelia High school in 1947. She married Kendall Roberts on April 9, 1949 and the couple had four children: Patricia, Steven, Pamela and David. Marion and Kendall were married for 66 years before her husband's passing in April of 2015. Marion was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Madelia and for many years participated in the church Circle and Extension. She loved gardening flowers and vegetable gardens, baking and keeping busy around her home. She was a great baker and has passed along several delicious recipes that are a favorite among family, friends and church family. Marion was a loving grandmother who rarely missed the opportunity to watch a program or recital for one of her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and was always there to listen and care for her children. Marion Elizabeth Roberts age 86, of Madelia, Minnesota died on May 4, 2016, at the Luther Memorial Home, in Madelia. Marion is survived by her children, Pat Etter, Steve (Marvel) Roberts, Pamela (Roger) Barnlund, David (Alice) Roberts; sister, Charlotte (Merv) Roberts; brother, Darrel (Karen) Faulkner; brother-in-law, Merwin Roberts; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Roberts; parents, Frank and Emmeline Faulkner; sons-in-law, John Etter, Douglas Johnson, and grandson, Craig Roberts.
