Marilyn Weedman

Marilyn Aileen Weedman was born December 8, 1949, in Tracy, MN to Robert and Verona (Kringle) Knakmuhs. She graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1967, and was united in marriage to Dennis Weedman on October 3, 1981, at the Sanborn United Methodist Church. Marilyn worked in restaurants and the Sanborn Golf Course before she and Dennis purchased the Sanborn Cafe in 1990. The couple sold that business in 1996 because of Denny's deteriorating health. Marilyn enjoyed knitting, collecting angels, elephants and other collectibles, and having her grandchildren around to cook for. She was a very active member of the Sanborn United Methodist Church and enjoyed helping others. Marilyn Weedman was called home on December 31, 2016, at North Memorial Hospital at the age of 67 years. She is survived by mother Verona Knakmuhs; children- Kenneth Arndtson, Jr. and special friend Pam of Jeffers, Shelby Arndtson and special friend Mark of Jeffers, Lisa Rohlik of Vesta, and Shannon (Mike) Landkammer of Sleepy Eye; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers- Darold Knakmuhs and Loren (Kathy) Knakmuhs; sister-in-law Judy Weedman; brother-in-law Stuart Juhnke; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Robert; husband Dennis in 2009; father-in-law and mother-in-law Cliff and Noreen Weedman; brother-in-law Gary Weedman; sister-in-law Jan Juhnke; and aunts and uncles.
