Marian Teigum, the daughter of Elmer and Hannah (Jones) Imlay was born on December 3, 1928 in rural Judson, MN. She lived in Lake Crystal and attended High School there. Marian worked as a legal secretary in Mankato. She resided in Roseville, Elbow Lake and Madelia. Marian and David Ruud Teigum were united in marriage on May 31, 1952 at the rural Jerusalem Church. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Madelia and was involved with the Presbyterian Women's group. Marian was a past member of Sons of Norway. Marian was a hospice volunteer, a volunteer for Watonwan County Historical Society and Habitat for Humanity, went on mission trips to Guatemala and delivered library books to shut-ins. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, genealogy, traveling, walking and she especially enjoyed her family, grandkids and friends. Marian is survived by her sons, Allan (Bonnie) of St. James, Douglas (LaVonne) of Madelia and Michael of Madelia; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother Martin (Phyllis) Imlay of rural Lake Crystal; and sister, Norma Bergquist of Mankato. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David, sister-in-law, Cathy Imlay; brothers-in-law, Dick Bergquist, and Chris Teigum; nephews, Tim Teigum, Bill Imlay, James Imlay, and Marvin Larson.
