Marian Elvina Burgeson

Marian Elvina Burgeson, age 89, of Frisco, Texas went to be with our Lord on May 19, 2016 at Sunrise Senior Living in Frisco. Marian was born in Sunburg, Minnesota on April 25, 1927 to August and Anna Forsman. Following high school she moved to the Madelia area where she met and married Marlo Burgeson. They were married 47 years. Marian and Mike (as he preferred to be called) were blessed with three children, Nancy, Connie, and Dana. Marian worked as a cook for the Madelia School system for many years. Following the passing of her husband, Marian moved to Texas in 1998 to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Marian enjoyed spending time with family, music, dancing, and playing the piano and accordion. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and had a love for all dogs. Marian died on May 19, 2016, at Sunrise Senior Living in Frisco, Texas. Marian's family includes her three children, Nancy Tucker of Frisco, Texas, Connie and Rich Studer of Frisco, Texas, and Dana Burgeson and Lisa Shellum of St. James, Minnesota; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by her husband Mike; her parents; three brothers; one sister; son-in-law, Warren Tucker, and grandson, Landon Studer.
