Margaret Zender

Margaret Gail Wedge was born March 10, 1943 at St. James, MN to parents Charles and Alice (Hintgen) Wedge. She grew up in St. James and graduated from St. James High School. She was united in marriage to Michael P. Zender on June 15, 1963 in St. James. The couple made their home in St. James before moving to Minneapolis in 1966. Returning to the St. James area after a couple years. Peggy worked for several places including in the office at Tony Downs Foods, was manager at St. James Hardee's, volunteered at St. James High School and most recently was the receptionist at St. James Chiropractic. Peggy was an devout reader, avid fan for both the Vikings and Twins, member of St. James Catholic Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Peggy Zender passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at St. James Hospital in St. James, she was 63 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew Brandon Tetzloff. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Michael Zender of Butterfield, children Cindy (Tom) Quindel of Grimes, IA, Michelle Meyer and fiance Michael Weinke of Medford, WI, Melissa (Mark) Schmidt of Sartell, seven grandchildren, sister Dianne (Mike) Tetzloff of St. James, numerous nieces and nephews.
