Margaret Fox

Margaret Elizabeth Fox was born on May 17, 1920 in Charleston Township, the daughter of Edward and Henrietta (Pape) Leopold. She was united in marriage to LeRoy C. Fox on September 5, 1942, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Sanborn. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Sanborn, participating with the CCW, and a member of the Farmers Golf Club in Sanborn. Margaret enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, flowers, golfing, Scrabble, crossword puzzles, participating in social groups, and the art of always being right. Margaret died on Sunday, June 16, 2013, at her home in Sanborn at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her daughter - Sandra (Dan) Sullivan of Aurora, CO; sons - Thomas (Laurie) Fox of New Ulm, MN, David (Ruth) Fox of Sanborn, and Mark (Pam) Fox of Slayton, MN; grandchildren - Colleen (Bob) Trask, Meg (Jake) Burgwald, Gena (Ben) Applebaum, Carlee (Patrick) Donohue, Casey (friend - Rob) Fox, Kristen (Cole) Altermatt, Matt Fox, Brandon (Kim) Fox, Jesse (friend - Marissa)Fox, Brady (Kelli) Fox, and Krystal (fianc - Josh) Fox; 10 great grandchildren; and sisters - Jeannette Fox of Sanborn and Shirley Thram of Lamberton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - LeRoy in 1998; son - James; brothers - Alvin, Loren, and Orland; and a sister - Myrtle Wolter.
