Marcella Marie Ewert

Marcella Marie Klaassen was born on January 7, 1931 to Peter and Marie (Kroeker) Klaassen in Carson Township, MN. She was a graduate of the Mountain Lake High School class of 1948. She attended Mankato Commercial College after high school and worked as a nurses aide for 13 years. On May 27, 1961, she married Sidney Ewert at the Assembly of God in Windom, MN. Marcella enjoyed crochet, quilting, reading, tending to her flower garden and traveling. She also spent her time volunteering in her church. Marcella M. Ewert age 88, of Mountain Lake, MN died on March 20, 2019, at Good Samaritan Society-The Village in Mountain Lake. Marcella is survived by her husband, Sidney Ewert; children, Tony (Sally) Ewert of Mountain Lake, Connie (Kenton) Moos of Dillingham, AK, Becky (Michael) Williamson of Minneapolis, MN; 6 grandchildren and sister-in-law, JoAnn Klaassen of Edina, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Loraine Thorn; brothers, Willard, Samuel and Norman Klaassen.
