Manuel DeJesus Rodriguez, Jr. age 25 of Butterfield died at his home on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Graveside services will be 11am, Friday, December 18, 2020 at Butterfield City Cemetery in Butterfield with Father Timothy Hall officiating. Covid safety protocols will be followed including face masks and social distancing. Manuel grew up in Butterfield, MN. He graduated from Butterfield High School. Manuel was diagnosed in 2019 with Synovial Sarcoma cancer which metastasis to his lungs which took his life, he fought the good fight. Manuel enjoyed the company of his large family, listening to music and working on cars. Manuel lived everyday to the fullest up to his death. Nothing or no one was going to hold back his free spirit. He will be missed by his family and friends. Manuel leaves behind his father Manuel DeJesus Rodriguez, mother Karen Maciel, sisters Elizabeth Rodriguez, Mia Rodriguez, brothers Braulio Rodriguez, Benjamin Rodriguez, 2 nieces Aviana Trejo (Elizabeth's daughter), Penelope Rodriguez (Mia's daughter). He is preceded in death by his grandfather Enrique Maciel, uncle Juan Barron and uncle Dolores (Lole) Rodriguez.
