Lyola June Jacobs, the daughter of George and Hatti (Buchholz) Jacobs was born on June 22, 1927, at Lester, IA. She received her education at Luverne and Worthington, MN, and she graduated from the Worthington High School. June continued her education with nursing school in the Twin Cities. On October 13, 1949, June was united in marriage to Loren Hammo Luebben at the Delafield Lutheran Church near Lakefield, MN. They made their home in Worthington, Briclyn, St. James and Madelia, MN before moving to Mountain Lake, MN in 1985. She provided home health care for others and worked as a Nurses Aide at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James. Loren died on February 4, 1998. June enjoyed traveling, Christmas baking and listening to Glen Miller music. June is survived by a daughter, Laurie and her husband Loren Klassen of Mountain Lake, MN; a son, Bob and his wife Patti Luebben of Denver, CO and South Africa; four grandchildren, Craig and his wife Lori Luebben, Cory Luebben, Shannon (Klassen) and her husband Don Flaherty, and Troy and his wife Angie Klassen; four great grandchildren, Alicia Luebben, Brandon Luebben, Taylor Flaherty and Austin Flaherty; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Elsie Jacobs; her husband; a grandson, Jamie Klassen; and a brother and his wife, Floyd and Marge Jacobs.
