Lyle Edward Syverson

Lyle Syverson age 59, of Mountain Lake, Minnesota died on March 28, 2021, at his home in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Sturm Funeral Home, Mountain Lake Chapel. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Mtn. Lake, Minnesota. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com Lyle Edward Syverson, the son of Donald and Dorothey (Markquart) Syverson was born on January 3, 1961 at Watonwan Memorial Hospital in St. James, MN. He was baptized on February 4, 1962 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Odin, MN and was confirmed on May 2, 1976 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Lake. Lyle received his education in Mountain Lake Public Schools, where he participated in wrestling, football and track. He graduated in 1980. He worked at Land-O-Lakes and Caldwell Packing in Windom. He was an avid reader, enjoyed playing pool and in his later years, coin collecting and watchinbg movies. Lyle is survived by his brother, Joel (Deborah); nephew, Tyler and niece Karly; along with many other relatives and friends, especially his best friend, Cory Grev. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jean Oltjenbruns; one brother, Wayne Syverson; and his grandparents.
