LuEtta Wadena Iverson was born February 20, 1930, in Cottonwood County, MN the daughter of Hans and Elnor (Werner) Iverson. She lived in Lamberton until age 16 then moved to Cleghorn, IA in 1946, then to Staples, MN in 1948. LuEtta also lived in Minneapolis, Cogswell and Forman, ND. She graduated from high school in 1948 and attended Teachers Training School in Staples. LuEtta taught in a country school for three years before going to Minnesota Bible College. She then worked for chiropractors Dr. R.M. Meyer and Dr. Maland before moving to Forman, ND to work at ASCS. LuEtta transferred to the ASCS office in Redwood Falls in 1957, and has lived there ever since. She taught Sunday School for 30 years, accompanied soloists, and attended Christian Service Camp at Pinehaven, first as a student, then as a cabin mother. LuEtta enjoyed volunteering at Sunwood, visiting with friends, watching TV, listening to the radio, and feeding the squirrels. LuEtta Iverson died Sunday, December 11, 2011, at her home at the age of 81 years. She is survived by cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather A. Etden Hoskins; stepbrothers- Frank (Charlotte) Hoskins, and Carlton (Lola) Hoskins; and stepsisters- Pheraba Hoskins, and Carol (Ben) Hawkins.
