Lucille Riederer

Lucille Mary Riederer was born November 23, 1939 in New Ulm, MN to Benjamin and Norma (Iesh) Schoof. She grew up and attended school in New Ulm, MN. Lucy married Edward Leo Riederer on September 7, 1957 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. She worked at Pietrus Foods, Star Cleaners, Red Owl, Schultz Cafe, Co-owner of L and L Cafe, Inn of Seven Gables and Sleepy Eye Care Center before retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Red Hats. Lucy loved to ride her moped, fishing with family and shaking dice. She took joy in baking her pies. She enjoyed going to Jackpot and loved spending time with all of her family members. Lucille M. Riederer, age 76, of Sleepy Eye, died on September 20, 2016 at Gil Mor Manor in Morgan, MN. She is survived by her son, Allen (Lisa) Riederer of Sleepy Eye, daughter, Linda (Rick) Borth of Sleepy Eye, 2 granddaughters, Jeannie (Mike) Ream of Sanborn, MN, Jody Gollnick and fiance, Derek Marshall of Sleepy Eye, 2 grandsons, Marc Riederer and Eric Riederer, both of Sleepy Eye, 1 great granddaughter, Erin Hinrichs of Sanborn, 3 great grandsons, Ryan Hinrichs of Sanborn, Caleb Gollnick of Sleepy Eye, Karter Ream of Sanborn and brother, Howard (Rita) Schoof of Sleepy Eye. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward in 1997 and brothers, Jerry Schoof and John Schoof.
