Lucille Mary Hoffmann

Lucille Mary Zwaschka was born March 23, 1919 in Comfrey, MN to Frank and Louisa (Schroepfer) Zwaschka. She attended school in Comfrey. On September 27, 1938, Lucille was united in marriage to Roman N. Hoffmann at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Comfrey. They farmed together on Roman's family farm, south of Sleepy Eye. Lucille enjoyed gardening, baking, old time music, dancing and bowling. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society and St. Mary's Catholic Church of Sleepy Eye. Lucille M. Hoffmann age 98, of Sleepy Eye, MN died on July 1, 2017, at the Sleepy Eye Care Center in Sleepy Eye. Lucille is survived by her daughters, Marjorie (Joe) Dummer of New Ulm, Lorraine (Jim) Schweiss of Mankato, Dolores (Dave) Kokesch of Gibbon, Marilyn Hulke of Courtland; son, Robert "Bob" R. (Leslie) Hoffmann of Sleepy Eye; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Roman (Betty) Zwaschka of Comfrey, Melvin Zwaschka of Mankato; sister-in-law, Agnes Zwaschka of Sleepy Eye, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roman N. Hoffmann; son-in-law, Larry Hulke; grandchildren, Dean Kokesch and Kimberly Jo Hulke; brother, Harold Zwaschka and sister-in-law, Dolores Zwaschka.
