Lucille Braun

Lucille J. Braun was born on May 17, 1921 in Elgin, Nebraska, the daughter of Edward Frances (Winter) Beachler. She moved with her family to Sleepy Eye where she attended St. Mary's School. Lucille married Norman Braun on May 30, 1945 in Fairfax, MN. The couple lived in Fairfax and Stewart before moving to Sleepy Eye where they made their home for many years. Lucille was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the C.C.W. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing and especially her grandchildren. Lucille J. Braun, 86, of Sleepy Eye, MN died on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Sleepy Eye Care Center. She is survived by her sons, Mike (Betty) Braun of Sleepy Eye, Steve (Nancy) Braun of Tonopah, AZ, ten grandchildren and sister, Annie Clark of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Norman in 2003 and ten brothers and sisters.
