Louise Treml

Louise Marie Treml was born on June 14, 1917, in Vail Township, Wabasso, MN, the daughter of George and Anna (Fischer) Guetter. She attended Wabasso schools and was united in marriage to Joseph Treml on November 15, 1938, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Wabasso, MN. They resided on a farm 2 miles east of Clements for 31 years and then moved into Clements in 1969. Louise was a long time member of the Church of St. Joseph in Clements. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society. Louise enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, canning, and baking. After a hip replacement in September of 2005, she resided at The Gardens Assisted Living and the past 2 years at St. Gertrude's Care Center in Shakopee, MN until her death. She loved this place and participated in many activities, but playing bingo was her passion. Louise died on Monday, January 27, 2014 at St. Gertrude's Health Care Center in Shakopee, MN at the age of 96 years, 7 months, and 13 days. She is survived by her children - Elaine (Arlan) Williams of Maple Grove, MN, Ronald (Janice) Treml of Clements, MN, Mary Ann (Thomas) Klehr of Jordan, MN, and Dennis (Barbara) Treml of Lake Elmo, MN; a son-in-law - Marc Frana of Charles City, IA; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter - Monica Frana; and her husband - Joseph; brothers - Nick, Joe, Frank, and George Guetter, and a sister - Rose Flatau.
