Lorrayne Schurrer

Lorrayne was born on May 18, 1918 in Gettysburg, SD, the daughter of John Robbie (Harvey) Worth. She grew up and attended school in Gettysburg. Lorrayne worked as a waitress in Utah before her marriage to William Schnurrer on April 16, 1943 in Ogden, UT. After their marriage, the couple made their home in Sleepy Eye where Lorrayne was a homemaker. She later worked as a cook at the Sleepy Eye Care Center and retired in 1983. She enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, volunteering and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her daughters, Sandra (Vincent) Konz of Sleepy Eye and Starla (David) Pioske of LeSueur, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brothers, Robert ( Lillian ) Worth of Mariposa,CA, Dean (Dottie) Worth of Gettysburg, SD and Quinten (Eileen) Worth of Aberdeen, SD, sister, Dorothy Worth of Gettysburg, SD, sisters-in-law, Marvel Worth of Gettysburg, SD and Irene Weber of Sleepy Eye, brothers-in-law, Robert (Leona) Johnson of St. Cloud and Reinhold Schnurrer of CA. She was preceded in deathby her parents, husband, William, brother, Wayne, sisters, Florence Stankey, Myrtle Mertz, Katherine Mangin and Lucy Worth.
