Lorraine Rothmeier

Lorraine Rothmeier was born on July 17, 1928 to Edward and Anna (Frericks) Baune in Wabasso, MN. On September 9, 1947 she was united in marriage to Raymond Rothmeier. Lorraine enjoyed crocheting, mission sewing, gardening, travel, singing in the church choir, and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Clements where she was involved in the CCW and served as the spiritual treasurer and belonged to the bible study. Lorraine was a member of the Clements Legion Auxiliary. She became a resident of Lake Villa Apartments in Sleepy Eye on January 5, 2010. She is survived by her sons - Ken Rothmeier of Evan, Ray (Tammy) Rothmeier of Sleepy Eye, Bill (Eileen) Rothmeier of Morgan; daughters - Judy Guetter of Starbuck, Ginny (Patrick) Haala of Morgan, Betty (Alan) Wilhelmi of Clements; 18 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; brothers - Eugene (Elaine) Baune of Wabasso, and Cyril Butch (Phyllis) Baune of Wabasso; sisters-in-law - Ginger Baune of Cottonwood, and Kathy Baune of Wabasso; and several nieces and nephews. Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ray in 1998; son Stephen in 1991; daughter-in-law Marion in 2011; 5 brothers; and 4 sisters.
