Lorraine Quiring was born in Mountain Lake, Minnesota, to Henry C. Peters and Agatha Peters on January 16th, 1922. She was the youngest of 13 siblings. Lorraine lived in Mountain Lake her entire life, where she married the love of her life Irving Quiring. Lorraine had a passion for cooking, and she was amazing at it. She spent many years as a cook for the local school, as well cooking for fun for family and friends. Lorraine enjoyed going to church on Sundays, where she sang in a womens trio. She had a true love for family and friends, but her eyes truly lit up when she saw her 4 great grandchildren. Lorraine was proceeded in death by her husband, Irvin Quiring, her daughters, Barb Jacques, and Shar Quiring. She is survived by her son-in-law, Donald G. Jacques, grandson, Gordy Jacques of Brooklyn Park, granddaughter, Nicole Jacques of Bloomington, and four great grandsons, Tyler Jacques, Zander Jacques, Teyton Rodgers and Tanner Rodgers, as well as numerous friends and relatives. Lorraines passing has left a huge hole in our hearts but will forever be remembered for her generosity.
