Lorraine Marie Oeltjenbruns

Lorraine Marie (Ott) Oeltjenbruns was born in Midway Township, MN on October 30, 1930 to Carl and Anna (Bartz) Ott. She grew up in Mountain Lake and graduated from Mountain Lake High School. Lorraine married Arnold "Arnie" Oeltjenbruns at the Salem Lutheran Church in Comfrey, MN on October 19, 1949. She worked at Land O' Lakes for 25 years and also helped on the family farm. Lorraine was loved by so many and known as a very giving person. She had a great and faithful life. Lorraine was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Lake. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. If you were to visit Lorraine, she was probably embroidering, crocheting or playing cards. Back in the day, you would find her dancing with the love of her life, Arnie. Lorraine Marie Oeltjenbruns age 91, of Mountain Lake, MN, passed away with her family by her side, on August 6, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society-The Village in Mountain Lake. Lorraine is survived by her children, Laura (Joe) Wensauer of Parkers Prairie, MN, Al (LaVonne) Oeltjenbruns of St. James, MN, Lyle (Amy) Oeltjenbruns of Parkers Prairie, MN, Darryl (Melinda) Oeltjenbruns of Butterfield, MN, Judy Cooper of Mapleton, MN, Glen (Cris) Oeltjenbruns of Luverne, MN; 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Oeltjenbruns in 2017; parents, Carl and Anna (Bartz) Ott; brother, Carl Ott Jr., sister, Evaline (Leroy) Oeltjenbruns; daughter-in-law, Martha Oeltjenbruns; son-in-law, Steve Cooper and parents-in-law, Gerhard and Olga Oeltjenbruns.
