Lorraine Just

Lorraine Margaret Miller Just was born October 6, 1919 to Walter and Hilda (Engelbrecht) Durheim in Riverdale Township, Watonwan County. She attended school in District #36 in Riverdale Township. She married Kenneth Miller of LaSalle on October 14, 1940 at Lake Hanska Church. They adopted a son, Terry. They farmed near LaSalle and then later moved into LaSalle. Kenneth passed away on April 3, 1978. Lorraine worked at the School in LaSalle as a cook. Later she helped Terry in the Cafe in LaSalle and also did some catering. In October of 1980 she married Sid Just. They lived in Mankato and during the winter months they lived in Arizona. Sid passed away in 1990. Lorraine moved to Madelia in 2005. She was a Sunday School teacher and Cub Scout den mother. She loved doing crafts, bowling, and playing cards with her friends, and traveling. Lorraine is survived by her grandson - Jody Miller; sisters - Janette (Gordon) Rasmussen and Lucille Frederickson of St. James; a sister-in-law - Marian Durheim of Portage, WI, a brother-in-law - Richard Just of Mankato; step daughters - Kathy (Frank) Lindholm of Bloomington, MN and Carla (Jim) Roth of Kalespell, MT and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands - Kenneth Miller and Sid Just; son - Terry; and a step daughter - Gayle Schulte.
