Lorna Cooling

Lorna W. Cooling was born February 24, 1914 in Ceresco Township, Blue Earth County to James and Minnie (Keehn) Cooling. She attended country school and graduated from Madelia High School in 1931. Lorna was married to Frank Mosel in 1933 and later divorced. She attended LPN school in New Ulm, MN in 1960 and worked as a nurse at the Madelia Hospital from 1961 to 1983. She was married to Lloyd Cooling in 1965. Lorna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and women's groups in Madelia. Lorna is survived by daughter, Lois Beckham; 2 sons, Richard (Sonja) Mosel of Mankato, MN, and Donald (Karen) Mosel of Colorado; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; parents, and 5 sisters. Memorials are preferred to the Madelia Community Hospital Foundation or the Luther Memorial Home Founders Fund.
