Lois Quick

Lois LaVonne Faber was born January 13, 1933 at Sherburn, MN to parents Pier and Rose (Lade) Faber. She grew up in the Sherburn area. On September 4, 1954 she was united in marriage to Howard Quick. The couple made their home on the farm south of St. James. Lois worked on the farm and raised her family. She also worked several years at Collier's and Pizza Hut. The couple retired from farming in 1979 and moved into town in 2003. Both Lois and Howard have been residents of Pleasant View since 2005. Lois has been active at Pleasant View with the bake sale and other activities. Lois Quick died on Friday, November 2, 2007 at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James. She is survived by her husband Howard of St. James, her children and their spouses Rod Carol Quick of Little Canada, MN, Deb Steve Shellum of Sartell, MN, Sharon Jordan of St. Cloud, grandchildren Amy Jordan, Terry Jordan, Tracy Shellum and Bill Quick. She was preceded in death by her parents.
