Lois Carlene Oeltjenbruns

Lois Carlene Oeltjenbruns was born January 2, 1941, in Mountain Lake, MN to Abram and Martha (Kunkel) Enns. She was confirmed April 11, 1954, and united in marriage to Richard Oeltjenbruns on October 27, 1957, both at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Lake where she was a lifetime member. After their marriage, the couple lived on the family farm where they worked side by side farming, milking cows, throwing down silage, and their auctioneering business. Lois loved caring for others. Family was her life and she spent many days caring for her great-grandchildren and was always there to help her children and grandchildren. She was affectionately called "Grandma Great". Lois did many caring deeds during her 28 years of employment at Good Samaritan Village in Mountain Lake. She is survived by daughter Dawn and husband Myron Fast of Mountain Lake; son Rick and wife Mary Oeltjenbruns of Mountain Lake; grandchildren- Brandon (Kris) Fast of Mountain Lake, and Trevor (Crystal) Fast of Mountain Lake; great-grandchildren- Lawson, Elliot and Annika Fast; step-grandchildren- Brianna (Cody) Steen and their children Kevin, Amelia and Autumn, Michael (Jessi) Minor and their daughter Addison, Jamie (Tyler) Panka and their children Dominic and Vivian, Jennifer Creps and her son Noah, and Daniel (Lounnee) Minor; brother Marvin (Shirley) Enns of Ruthven, IA; sister Janice (Marvin) Hanson of Odin; brothers-in-law- Walter (Margaret) of Mountain Lake, and Dennis (Avis) Oeltjenbruns of Menomonie, WI; sisters-in-law- Lorraine Oeltjenbruns of Mountain Lake, Loretta (Jack) Carter of Jeffers, and Susan Enns of Arizona City, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard in 2014; brothers- Harvey and Jerry Enns; sister Susie Enns; brothers-in-law Leroy and wife Eveline, Harvey, and Arnold Oeltjenbruns; and sister-in-law Faye Enns.
