Lois Johnson

Lois C. Johnson, age 89, of Sleepy Eye, MN died on Monday, April 28, 2008 at Sleepy Eye Care Center. Lois Clara Johnson was born on June 28, 1918 in rural Pine River, MN, the daughter of Frank Mary (Solvik) Mudick. At the age of 6 months she entered foster care system due to health reasons and later was adopted by the Nicholson family. She married James Kenny Johnson on August 17, 1939. Lois had a special fondness for her cat, Tony. She is survived by daughters, Shirley (Calvin) Shoen of Springfield, Sue Haala of Sleepy Eye, Carol (Steve) Nott of Clements, son, Ronald Herk (Mary) of Sleepy Eye, son-in-law, Harlan Larson of Waseca, 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by husband, Kenny and daughter, Donna Larson, and two great grandchildren.
